Our hope as librarians is to find meaningful ways to connect with students while also equipping them with necessary skills to become savvy researchers. While scaffolding a functional and sustainable information literacy (IL) plan often feels unattainable, librarians at Austin Peay State University are striving to accomplish that goal. In this session we will discuss how to map IL skills to the framework, how to scaffold instruction sessions within a specific discipline, and how to self-reflect on the sessions to implement improvements.
